DPI animates ARCADIS plan for New York storm surge barrier

ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), an international concern specialising in consultation, design, engineering and management services, has come up with an idea for a flood barrier to protect New York in the event of a storm surge. The storm surge barrier is to be situated in the Verrazano Narrows, connecting the Upper New York Bay with the Atlantic Ocean. ARCADIS presented its conceptual design in New York during a conference on storm surge barriers. The artist's impressions and animations used in the presentation were produced by DPI Animation House at the request of ARCADIS.
